Pesky armpit fat!
Will it ever go away?
Yes darling, it will.
Although it takes a bit more time for women than men because the average woman has more body fat (18-20%) than the average man (10-15%)…
If you follow these 5 tips you will get rid of armpit fat.
1. Check Your Bra Before You Reck Yourself
While I was researching for this article I found about a dozen women saying how buying a properly sized bra eliminated their armpit fat almost instantly.
Yup, your armpit fat may comes from wearing an ill-fitting bra.
A bra band that is too loose and cups that are too small can cause what’s now called “breast tissue migration”.
When your bra cup is too small, the excess breast tissue has to go somewhere!
So make sure you get fitted by a bra specialist if you suspect being a victim of this breast tissue thing.
2. Swap Fast Foods For Healthy Foods
I get it.
It taste good. It’s convenient. And it’s a time saver.
Or is it?
Not really. And you know that.
Productivity guru are famous for saying that one of the key to productivity (i.e. saving time), is to manage your energy.
Because when you’re low on energy, you tend to waste your time.
And eating fast food will rob you off of your energy fast.
That’s on the short-term. But on the long-term? It’s much worst than that.
Eating junk food will probably shorten your life span.
The difficult thing here is to keep those things in perspective. When you’re tired and running out of time, it will be difficult to remember about your body goal and your diet goal.
But listen carefully to that inner voice and whenever it says “you don’t have time to cook something healthy”… Remind yourself that cooking healthy will actually buy you back time.
3. Swap Soda For Water
Same thing here.
What you’re trying to do here is to cut 500 calories from your daily diet. Doing this will help you lose about 1 pound a week (or 52 pounds a year) and say bye-bye armpit fat good!
A 12-ounce can of Coca Cola has 140 calories. But if you swap soda for water chances are that you will cut more than just 140 calories a day.
Because people often mistake thirst for hunger. And so the more water you drink, the less hungry you will feel.
Second, (and most importantly), good habits beget good habits.
I’m sure you’ve noticed that, your friend start working out… And 2 months later she quit smoking.
Or your friend start meditating, and 2 months later she start doing yoga.
These changes are NOT a coincidence. They’re a by-product of a good habit.
4. Try A New Activity
Scary isn’t it?
I don’t know about you… But the older I get, the harder it is for me to try new things.
But we have to step out of our comfort zone every now and then.
ESPECIALLY when there’s something in your life which you are not happy about (I’m talking about you pesky armpit fat!).
Trying a new activity is a good way to shake things up and fix an old routine that doesn’t give you the results that you’re looking for.
So give yourself a little challenge and try something new.
It doesn’t have to be permanent by the way. Think: experiment.
Are you more attracted to moderate activities like: dancing, bicycling, or walking?
Or more vigorous activities like: running, swimming, or weight lifting?
I recently tried yoga and started to go swimming once a week… and I LOVE it.
What’s one activity that you could try just for fun?
5. Tone It Up!
Working out is hot. Girls that work out are hot. Period.
If you work out, you will beat bra bulge forever.
And although you can’t target a specific zone to lose weight, exercises that work your arms, back and chest will help you destroy armpit fat and tone your upper body.
You don’t need equipment to get a good workout either.
